The Reasons I Love Christmas

The Reasons I Love Christmas

Most everyone I know loves Christmas. There is something about the magic and wonder of the season that is unmatched during the rest of the year. There are so many reasons that I love Christmas I can hardly know where to begin.

I guess the biggest reason I love Christmas is that, for me, it has always meant the gathering of family and friends. It is only during the Christmas season that we gather from afar and enjoy days filled with laughter, good conversation, good meals, and tons of games. My four siblings and I have naturally spread out into our adulthood, and usually, it is only at Christmas that we get to reunite with each other and our parents. You could take everything else about Christmas away from me, and I would still love it just for this reason.

3 Steps To Having An Old Fashioned Christmas Holiday

3 Steps To Having An Old Fashioned Christmas Holiday

Many Christmas traditions are gradually being lost in today’s high-tech, always-on-the-go world. But Christmas is the perfect time to slow things down and get back to basics to enjoy the season. The following are three ways to have a traditional, old-fashioned Christmas.

1. Decorations

For many people, decorations are what make Christmas time special. The right decorations can set the mood for a traditional Christmas and let the whole family create the Christmas spirit.

Start with an old-fashioned Christmas tree. Traditional decorations were all hand-made. Take a day early in December to get the whole family together to create the decorations such as stringed popcorn and chains made from colorful paper. Play Christmas music, serve eggnog, and get everyone into the spirit.

Would you prefer to spend the Christmas season this way? We are sure not. So, here we are with the best Christmas songs ever released in the music world. They would entertain you, thereby letting you inculcate the spirit of goodness and happiness in yourself.

We Wish You A Merry Christmas By Al Martino- This all-time favorite Christmas song is sung with great enthusiasm. As the initial words suggest, the entire piece has congratulatory lyrics. Wish a particular person Merry Christmas by presenting them with a CD or cassette of this song.

Sushi. Sushi The Japanese Delicacy

Sushi. Sushi The Japanese Delicacy

Sushi is a Japanese dish popular throughout the world. Sushi lovers, young and old alike, mistakenly think Sushi refers to raw sea fish. Sushi means vinegar-flavored rice, and the raw food accompanying it is called Sashimi.

Types of Sushi Preparations:

There are five kinds of Sushi preparations like Nigiri, Maki, Temaki, Chirashi, and Inari Sushis. Sushi rice is the staple ingredient in all of them. The types are determined by the kind of fillings or toppings used. Can serve the same ingredients, assembled in both traditional and modern ways.

Nigiri Sushi is the most popular form of Sushi. It is served with an oblong mound of rice topped by wasabi and a thin slice of egg, seafood, or meat. While the egg is always served cooked, the seafood and the meat may be raw.

The Power Of Your Subconscious Mind

The Power Of Your Subconscious Mind

Scientists say that we only use 10% of our minds. Think about what I just said. We use only 10% of our minds! We are wasting the other 90%. Think of it this way. What if we only used 10% of our salary? Could we survive on 10% of our salary?  What about eating only 10% of the food we make? Wouldn’t that be a waste of food? What if we slept only 10% of 8 hours or 80 minutes a day? Could we survive? What if we had only 10% of the oxygen that was available? Could we survive? The answer to all these questions is a resounding NO

So why do we put up with using only 10% of our brain? Look at your life. Are you living the life you want? On your terms? Are you happy with what you’ve created, or do you think it could be better? The chances are that you are living to only 10% of your abilities. What if you could make your life 100, 500, or 1,000% better? I can hear you now saying:” That’s impossible” or “that’s too hard to do.” If you did say that, you’re repeating the same pattern in your life: you are using only 10% of your brain or less.
